天安門廣場(Tian’anmen Square)位于北京市中心，整個廣場東西寬500米，南北長880米，總面積達44萬平方米。矗立在廣場中央的人民英雄紀念碑(Monument to the People’s Heroes)是新中國誕生后在廣場修建的第一座建筑。天安門廣場與其周圍的建筑被稱為中國的心臟，是舉行重大慶典的神圣之地。天安門廣場還是著名的旅游景點，每天都有大量的中外游客到此參觀。
Located at the center of Beijing City, Tian’anmen Square covers a total area of 440,000 square meters, measuring 880 meters north to south, and 500 meters east to west. Monument to the People’s Heroes, the first architecture built on the square after the founding of New China, stands upright in the center. Tian’anmen Square, together with the surrounding architectures, can be called the heart of China. It is a holy place where grand ceremonies are held. Tian’anmen Square is also a famous tourist attraction with a large number of visitors from home and abroad every day.
