《詩經(jīng)》是我國第一部詩歌總集，收錄了自西周至春秋時期描述百姓日常生活的詩歌。根據(jù)不同的韻律，《詩經(jīng)》中的詩歌分為《風》《雅》《頌》三個部分。《風》收錄了各諸侯國的敘事詩歌，這些詩歌刻畫了普通百姓的日常生活；《雅》收錄了描述宮廷生活、宴會和慶典的詩歌；《頌》收錄了在隆重場合演唱的頌歌。《詩經(jīng)》以及儒家的“四書”被稱為儒家經(jīng)典。
The Classic of Poetry, also named Shi Jing or Book of Songs, is the first anthology of poetry in Chinese history. It collects poems that describe common people’s everyday life during the period from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Spring and Autumn period. According to different rhythms, these poems are categorized into three sections, namely Feng, Ya and Song. Feng is the ballads of vassal states, which mainly depicts common people’s life; Ya comprises poems on court life, banquets and celebrations; Song, also named Odes, includes eulogies and songs sung on ceremonious occasions. The Classic of Poetry, along with “ The Four Books”, is called the classic of Confucianism.
