中國每年都要為慶祝農歷新年舉辦電視聯歡晚會,其中,最具代表性的當屬央視春晚(Spring Festival Gala)。1983年開始推出的央視春晚可謂中國版的“超級碗”(Super Bowl)。由于觀者甚眾,春晚為央視帶來了創紀錄的廣告收入。然而近些年來,央視春晚魅力漸失。其中一個重要原因是,地方衛視(satellite TV station)紛紛推出了自己的春節晚會,其內容時尚,并請了大牌明星,吸引了大量的觀眾。
